Long-distance transmission cables can connect two distant detection equipment, making the application of machine vision more adaptable to different wiring environments and not limited by the site or the size of the detection object. Applying Long Haul cables has been a key trend in machine vision in recent years. COMOSS Long Haul Cable solution includes: USB ACC (Active Copper Cable, up to 15 meters), USB AOC (Active Optical Cable, up to 30 meters), GigE (up to 80 meters), CoaXPress (up to 40 meters). Our Long Haul Cable solution also covers High Flex cable with a variety of interfaces. Therefore, it applies to a wide range of scenarios, and its flex resistance can overcome challenges such as space constraints and device mobility.

COMOSS will present our new generation USB ACC cable, which is the best solution for mid to long-distance USB cables. Compared with the previous generation, it has a breakthrough upgrade:
  1. The repeater is equipped with a clock data recovery circuit (CDR): it can reconstruct and restore the data sequence transmitted by the transmission end. After the signal is transmitted over long distances, it can still be clear and maintain stability.
  2. The repeater has adaptive equalization: it is suitable for different cable lengths, and there is no need to redesign the circuit board when changing the length.
  3. The cable length is longer, and the repeater can be anywhere along the cable: It’s up to 15 meters. The placement of the repeater can be designed according to the conditions of the wiring environment.
  4. Retains the advantages of the previous generation: no firmware required, no USB tier occupied, and good interoperability.
