COMOSS Releases 2025 Sustainability Report, Advancing Corporate Resilience and Sustainable Competitiveness Through ESG
From a 44% reduction in emissions intensity at the Dongguan factory and approximately 20% replacement of conventional electricity with solar power, to an EcoVadis Gold Medal and AI-driven lean management, COMOSS continues to transform ESG initiatives into long-term business value.
COMOSS Electronic Co., Ltd. has officially released its 2025 Sustainability Report, themed “From Global Trends to Net-Zero in Action.” The report is voluntarily disclosed with reference to the GRI Standards and highlights the company’s progress across the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dimensions. Based primarily on 2024 data, the report shows how COMOSS is integrating ESG into operational efficiency, supply chain resilience, and long-term competitiveness.
On the environmental front, COMOSS’ Taipei headquarters established 2024 as its greenhouse gas emissions base year and completed an inventory in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018, with third-party verification. Total greenhouse gas emissions amounted to 153.004 metric tons of CO₂e.
At its Dongguan manufacturing facility, COMOSS installed approximately 1,200 square meters of rooftop solar panels in 2024, with the system expected to replace around 20% of conventional electricity consumption. In 2025, the facility achieved a 44% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity compared with the 2024 baseline. COMOSS is also incorporating circular economy principles through cable health check and renewal services to extend product life and reduce material waste.
On the social front, COMOSS launched the MOSS Academy in 2025 to strengthen employee development and organizational knowledge sharing. Through internal instructors, knowledge databases, and the gamified “MOSS Coin” incentive mechanism, employees are encouraged to improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), share expertise, and apply AI tools to solve practical workplace challenges. The Dongguan facility has also obtained ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification.
In governance, COMOSS is combining Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Lean Management to improve operational performance. The company has developed an AI-powered “Lean Robot” to support workplace 6S management, waste identification, abnormality alerts, and SOP optimization. The initiative is expected to generate approximately NT$5 million in tangible benefits in 2026, including cost savings, material waste reduction, and yield improvement.
COMOSS also received an EcoVadis Gold Medal in 2024, placing the company among the top 5% of companies assessed globally and reinforcing its commitment to responsible and sustainable supply chain management.
Looking ahead to 2026-2028, COMOSS will continue its sustainability transformation through four strategic pillars: Governance Enhancement, Digital Advancement, Cultural Continuity, and Environmental Accountability. The company has also set a target to reduce carbon emissions in 2026 by a further 10% compared with the 2024 baseline.
Guided by its core values of Link, Challenge, and Fun, COMOSS will continue to integrate ESG into its business operations, strengthening corporate resilience, customer trust, and sustainable growth.
