COMOSS’ Long Haul Cable Solutions Will Be Presented at ITE Yokohama (Dec. 6-8) in Partnership with ComScience

COMOSS is pleased to announce our collaboration with long-time partner ComScience to present the latest long haul cable solution at ITE that will be held in Yokohama from 6th to 8th December 2023.

Long-haul cables are commonly used to connect two devices over a long distance. There are two ways to achieve this:

1. Using cable of higher quality, such as our CXP-6, which can be up to 40 meters, and CXP-12, which can be up to 30 meters.
2. Adapting active cables that the signals are optimized by repeaters to deliver longer transmission, such as our AOC (Active Optical Cable), which can be up to 30 meters. ACC (Active Copper Cable) can be up to 15 meters.

We especially recommend USB AOC for the applications in storage and mobile devices, as well as remote cameras, game consoles, etc. USB AOC is a compact hybrid cable comprised of multi-mode glass fibers for SuperSpeed USB 3.2 Gen2 (supports 10 Gbps) and copper wires for the High Speed USB 2.0 signals (480 Mbps).

COMOSS’ USB AOC is ultra-slim and durable, so it can be operated well in the most cramped and crowded environments. Meanwhile, it features low power consumption and high performance with low attenuation and outstanding electromagnetic interference (EMI) immunity.
