2025 The Hero's Journey : Returning to the Initial Intent
In 2025, the team at COMOSS returned to Hualien and Taitung—the starting point of their very first ride—to embark on a soulful "Hero's Journey." Even when severe flooding disrupted the original plan for a 180km single-day cycling challenge, the team stayed true to the spirit that "giving up is never an option," pivoting instead to assist with cleanup efforts in Hualien.
Throughout this four-day journey, colleagues from different departments broke down barriers and supported one another through grueling climbs, embodying the core COMOSS value of "looking beyond oneself to care for others." The trip also deepened the team's commitment to social grit through visits to Book House for Kids, where they learned the importance of seeing potential beyond labels, and through heartfelt interactions with the youth of the Maria Social Welfare Foundation.
