Meeting the Demand for High-Speed Imaging: COMOSS to Showcase Multi-Interface Connectivity Solutions at VISION 2026

USB3.2, 10GigE, GMSL2, CXP-12, and CXPoF solutions, with four live demos for diverse imaging applications
COMOSS will showcase six high-speed connectivity solutions at VISION Stuttgart 2026, held in Germany from October 6 to 8: USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 passive and active cables, 10GigE cables, GMSL2 cables, CXP-12 cables, and CXPoF transceivers. At Booth 10C11, visitors can see live demos of CXPoF, USB3.2 Gen2, 10GigE, and GMSL2, and discuss the connectivity needs of different imaging systems with the COMOSS team. The passive and active USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 cables address different installation distances. The passive cable supports up to 20 Gbps over 2 meters. With built-in signal retiming, the active cable supports up to 20 Gbps over 10 meters without an external power supply or additional drivers.
For systems where the camera is farther from the host, COMOSS offers 10GigE cables with transmission distances of up to 45 meters. Fixed-installation and high-flex versions are available to suit different routing and motion requirements.
Three other solutions serve different imaging architectures. The GMSL2 cable uses a Fakra connector and supports up to 6 Gbps over 25 meters for applications such as embedded vision and multi-camera systems. The CXP-12 coaxial cable supports up to 12.5 Gbps per connection over 45 meters, making it suitable for connecting industrial cameras and frame grabbers. The QSFP28 CXPoF transceiver supports transmission over up to 70 meters of OM3 fiber or 100 meters of OM4 fiber, providing an option for imaging systems that require higher bandwidth over longer distances.
In addition to these transmission solutions, COMOSS will display high-flex cables, waterproof connectivity solutions, and examples of customized cable and connector assemblies. The exhibits address practical questions in equipment development: where the camera will be installed, whether the cable will move continuously, what demands the operating environment places on the cable, and how the connector must fit the equipment.
COMOSS has also been selected for the Semiconductor & Electronics Guided Tour at this year’s VISION. Its presentation focuses on high-speed connectivity for demanding environments, including low-particle cables for cleanroom applications and Low Pressure Molding (LPM) technology. Visitors can see LPM process demonstrations and application samples showing how the technology protects circuit boards inside active transmission cables and can be applied to waterproof connectors, sensors, and other products.
COMOSS invites visitors to Booth 10C11 during the show to see the live demos and discuss cable selection and design requirements for high-speed imaging systems.
